Graduated in chemistry engineering from Chalmers University, Saida started her carrier in 1988 at the Swedish Nuclear Inspectorate.
She became Project Manager in 1998 at SKB (company in charge of the management of nuclear waste in Sweden) for the site selection in Sweden for the repository of spent nuclear fuel and was a key person in defining the communication strategy towards all Swedish involved parties and stakeholders. She monitored the dialog with the citizens, with local authorities interested by this project, and with national authorities. She was also in charge of the environmental impact assessment for this project of deep underground repository.
She is since 2018 Senior Advisor on job rotation at Fleet, Vatenfall.
